T.C. Kincer is a music director, pianist, and vocal coach based in New York City. Some of his favorite music directing credits include Little Shop of Horrors, The FantasticksYou’re A Good Man, Charlie Brown, Legally Blonde, On the Town and All Hands on Deck!. Originally from Westerville, Ohio, he holds a bachelor’s degree in piano performance from Otterbein University. After completing his undergraduate degree, he worked as a staff accompanist at Otterbein where he accompanied multiple choirs, studio voice classes and theater production rehearsals. Also in Ohio, T.C. Kincer served as pianist and organist for New Albany United Methodist Church and worked on theatre productions in the Central Ohio area. Additionally, he worked as an orchestra pianist on board the Celebrity Silhouette cruise ship. As a member of the orchestra, T.C. Kincer played keyboard in production shows, accompanied guest artists, and performed big band and solo piano sets around the ship. T.C. Kincer has spent several summers music directing at the Carousel Music Theatre in Boothbay Harbor Maine. At the Carousel Music Theatre, T.C. Kincer was responsible for creating cabaret shows, arranging music, keyboard programming, and accompanying all performances. In the summer of 2018, he music directed a unique production of You’re A Good Man, Charlie Brown in which he played the role of Schroeder while accompanying the show on piano. Currently, T.C. Kincer is an accompanist for New York University Steinhardt’s Vocal Performance Department where he accompanies diction classes, song analysis classes, auditions, voice lessons, and more. T.C. Kincer recently music directed readings and demo recordings of the new musicals Saving AmeliaThose Muscle Bound Cowboys from Snake Pit Gultch, and Push. In addition to his music pursuits, T.C. Kincer enjoys reading fiction, drinking coffee, and playing beach volleyball.
